"The Voice of The Wrongly Convicted in Mississippi"
The Mississippi Justice Projectis dedicated to the support and encouragement of the innocent individuals who have been wrongly prosecuted, convicted, and imprisoned by The Great State of Mississippi.
We hope to focus your attention on some of the cases from Mississippi and, perhaps, make some small difference.
This site is dedicated to providing encouragement and assistance to the wrongly convicted in Mississippi, and to their families.
The Mississippi Justice Project is an association of three distinct organizations, each designed to address a particular issue of importance to Mississippi Inmates and their Families. Mississippi-Justice.com works on behalf of the wrongly convicted inmates,
OutMateSanctuary.com provides on-line resources and support to families/friends/supporters of inmates while INFAMMS.com (Pronounced "Infamous") is a Real Time/Real World organization working to improve conditions for both inmates and their families.
We all share a common message board/discussion forum which we call "The Sanctuary" . The public is invited to participate.

Have you ever been arrested for a crime you did not commit? Do you think you might be? Tens of thousands of Americans, innocent of any wrong-doing, may have felt much as you do... until they were suddenly accused, arrested, convicted and locked away behind bars. Some will be there for a few years, some for life and others will be executed. No one can say exactly how many; estimates range from a low of 40,000 to as high as 200,000 with some researchers saying even that staggering number is too small!
It could happen to you or me. It has happened, and is happening, to far too many innocent people all across America. It seems to be more likely to happen in some states than in others. Mississippi is among the worst. Sometimes, just focusing public attention on the plight of the Innocent Imprisoned, and raising public awareness, will be enough to restore them to Freedom, Life, and Family.
